Paper art by Lisa Rodden

Australian paper artist Lisa Rodden cuts, slices, and folds thick layers of white paper on top of acrylic painting. With meticulous care, she cuts small geometric details, revealing windows of paint. She plays with color and shadow to create intricate designs.

Being quite a traveler, she takes inspiration from the diversity in culture and landscapes. Rodden said her art is a communication of how all things are interrelated, with organic forms, textures, color and flow.
